How to take?

Take Atarax the way it is advised by your doctor. Never take two doses at once. Have Atarax with a large class of water.
Treatment which begins with injections can be continued in the form of tablets. Older adults are given lower doses because of the risk of drowsiness.
Do not take more than prescribed by your doctor.

Warnings?

Atarax might cause drowsiness and slow your reactions. Any activity which requires alertness of the mind should be avoided during the course of Atarax. Operating machines and driving should be avoided.

Missed dose

In case of missing a dose, do not take 2 doses at the time of next dose. Just follow the regular schedule and continue with the prescribed dosage.

Side effects

Other side effects which are caused by Atarax include dry mouth, twitches, tremors (uncontrolled shaking) and convulsions (seizures). Tremors and convulsions occur when Atarax is taken in higher than normal doses.

Storage advice

Store the tablets and syrup at room temperature. Keep it away from heat, light and moisture and don't let it freeze. Keep out of extreme temperatures. Keep out of reach of small children.
