How should I take Cyclobenzaprine?
Cyclobenzaprine should only be used according to the prescribed way. Do not take Cyclobenzaprine for a longer time than the given course. Cyclobenzaprine is not to be used in bigger amounts than the prescribed amount.
Do not practice self medication when taking Cyclobenzaprine. Do not take doses larger than prescribed or longer than the treatment suggested by your doctor. It is usually accompanied with an entire program of rest, some physical exercises etc. Do not take Cyclobenzaprine in broken form as it might be too much for a doze. When you break a tablet, the prescribed dosage is disturbed and the quantity of drug may vary.
Try taking your missed dose as soon as you remember. In case of relaxants such as Cyclobenzaprine, you have to be careful about the dosage. If the time for next dose is near, forget the missed dose and take the next. If you take the missed dose and the next together, it might be dangerous for you as it might cause over dosage. IT is better to avoid an over dose instead of taking two pills together to make up for the missed dose.
