Remeron General Information
Depressive disorders are treated with the drug known as Remeron. This medicine is an antidepressant, which reacts towards the chemicals, which have caused the imbalance in the brain that is causing the depression.
Remeron Uses
Remeron is licensed to be used as a treatment towards clinical and major depressive disorders. Doctors usually prescribe this for other treatments as well, some of which can well be termed as symptoms of depression viz. fatigue, guilt, concentration problems, fidgetiness, suicidal thoughts and tendencies etc.
How Take Remeron
A prescription to this medicine varies from person to person depending on age, medical condition and other medications if any. It is available in tablet form and is taken orally once a day, advisably at the same time every day. Always inform your doctor in case of any anomaly. It is generally recommended at bedtime due to the drowsiness that it may cause.
Recommended Dosage is:
- ADULTS: Starting dose: 15mg/day to 45mg / day till prescribed
- CHILDREN: Not known till date
Some tablets dissolve orally and it is recommended for people who may have a problem swallowing tablets.

Do not stop taking the medicine on your own, without consulting your physician.
Check the contents of this drug; in case you are allergic to any content do not take the drug. Inform your physician about any other medication you might be taking, just in case there are other precautions to be taken.

Remeron Missed Dose
Always aim at taking the dose as prescribed and try not to miss it. In an event of missing a dose immediately take the missed dose and continue as usual. Never consume any extra dose to make up for the missed dose.
Remeron Side Effects
Some of the known common side effects are: abnormal dreams, abnormal thinking, constipation, dizziness, Drowsiness, dry mouth, flu symptoms, increased appetite, weakness, weight gain, Muscle pain, Frequent urination, Confusion, Back pain, or Hiccups.
There are others, which might need immediate emergency action: severe allergic reactions, difficulty breathing, tightness in the chest, swelling of the mouth, mood changes, mouth sores, tremors, worsening of depression, Suicidal thoughts, aggressiveness, Restlessness, or Hallucinations
Some very rare side effects also reported are: Sensitivity to the sun, Migraine headaches, Canker sores, Hypothyroidism, Weight loss, Urinary tract infections, Seizures, Asthma, or Sexual side effects

Temperatures: 77 degrees F (25 degrees C)
Avoid Heat, moisture, and light
Special Care from: Do not Store in the bathroom, Keep away from Children and pets
Remeron Overdose
Overdose symptoms depend on a number of other factors. Some symptoms are as follows: Disorientation, Drowsiness, Memory problems, Loss of life, or Fast heart rate
