Seasonale is a birth control pill. It prevents pregnancy by stopping ovulation. This pill enables women to have periods once in three months. It must be consumed same time every day.

Seasonale is a contraceptive pill used to prevent pregnancy by stopping ovulation. You must use condoms to prevent STDs, as this medicine does not protect you against HIV.
How Take Seasonale
You must take the pills as directed by physician. You must not take for longer period than recommended by physician. You must start taking pill from the first day of period or from Sunday after period begins. The pack contains pills for 91 days. It has three trays, which holds 84 active pills and 7 reminder pills. When you are using reminder pills then your period should begin.

Seasonale Warnings
Irregular in using Seasonale you may get pregnant. In form your consultant in case you are having nay surgery, that you are taking this birth control pill.
Seasonale Missed Dose
You must not miss even single dose of Seasonale. Missing dose will increase risk of pregnancy.
In case dose missed is:
- One active pill: Take two pills on that day
- Two pills in a row: Take two pills per day for two days. Use birth control pill at least for 7 days
- Three pills in a row: Never take missed pill, Continue taking pill each day. You must leave the missed pill in the pack. Use any other birth control backup at least for seven days.
- Any reminder pill: Throw reminder pill away and continue taking one pill every day until pack finishes. In case period does not occur, consult physician.
Seasonale Side Effects
Consult physician in case use face any of the side effects such as weakness, numbness, headache, problem in vision, nausea, pain in arms, behind eyes or chest, sweating, ill feeling, stomach ache, fever, loss of appetite, dark urine, jaundice, swollen feet or hands, symptoms of depression, breast pain, increased hair growth, vaginal itching, or changes in menstrual cycle.
You may come across some other side effects also. Consult your physician in that case.
Seasonale Storage Advice
You must store Seasonale at room temperature. Keep the medicine away from heat and moisture.
Seasonale Overdose
You must consult physician in case you have consumed overdose of Seasonale. Side effects of overdose could be vomiting, vaginal bleeding or vomiting.
Seasonale More Information
Seasonale has only one standard dose. You must take one pill once a day. You must take pill at same time every day may be at breakfast or before going to bed. You can take the pill with or without food. However, in case you have problem in stomach, you must take the pill with food. You might experience spotting between periods once you start taking Seasonale. You must be aware of what to do in case you miss pill.
