Skelaxin General Information
Skelaxin is muscle relaxtant drug. It is primarily used to treat for pain and injury caused to muscle. It is available as a tablet and has been known for relieving pain from muscle injury and relaxing muscle spasms.

This drug is not prescribed while you are breast-feeding and are pregnant.

Skelaxin Missed Dose
In the event of missing a dose, immediately take the dose and continue as usual. However, in case you realize the miss near the next scheduled time, do not take the missed dose; take the regular one.
Never take double doses at one go.
Skelaxin Side Effects
Side effects related to Skelaxin, which required immediate emergency help are: Hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of facial features, nausea, stomach pain, loss of appetite, low fever, dark urine, clay-colored stools, or jaundice.
Other side effects are: Drowsiness, dizziness, feeling nervous or irritable, headache, mild nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, or skin rash.
Skelaxin Storage Advice
Temperatures: Usually at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C)
59 to 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) permitted temporarily
Avoid: Heat, moisture, and light
Special Care: Store in airtight containers; Do not Store in the bathroom, Keep away from Children and pets
Discard: Expired medications and into safe disposal systems
Skelaxin Overdose
Overdose symptoms related to excessive consumption of Skelaxin are slow or shallow breathing, feeling faint, or lightheaded, and extremely drowsy. You must seek immediate medical attention
Overdose symptoms may include extreme drowsiness, slow or shallow breathing, feeling light-headed, or fainting.
Some reported overdose cases have been fatal, and hence it is essential to keep the physician informed about the possible symptoms.

Physical Therapies along with medication are a normal treatment to reduce discomfort.
Some other medications, which are used for cold or other allergies, may react adversely with this medicine. So does medications related to narcotic pain and seizures. Sleeping pills and some other muscle relaxants can add to the drowsiness caused by this medicine.
So in case you are consuming other medications, keep doctor informed. The doctor may order some tests due to this.
