Temovate General Information
Generic name for Temovate is Clobetasol topical. It is a steroid. It helps in reducing the chemical actions in the body that causes redness, swelling, and inflammation.
Temovate Uses
Temovate is used to treat itching caused by number of skin problems such as allergies, eczema, and psoriasis.
How Take Temovate
You must apply Temovate as directed by physician. You must always wash your hands before and after applying Temovate. You must gently rub small amount of Temovate on the affected area of your skin. Do not cover the affected area. If the same medicine is being applied to kids to treat diaper area, do not put tight fitting diaper to kids after applying the medication. You must not use this medication over large area of your skin.
Consult with physician in case the condition does not improve within two weeks of starting the Temovate or in case you have viral, fungal, or bacterial skin infection.
Temovate Warnings
You must tell physician in case you are allergic to any medicine, food, or you have any skin infection. Physician must be aware in case you have diabetes as this medicine when gets absorbed through skin, increases the sugar level. Let physician know in case you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or even if you are breast-feeding your baby.
Temovate Missed Dose
You must apply Temovate as directed by physician regularly. In case, you have missed any dose of the medicine, and it is already time for next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not apply overdose of Temovate without talking to physician.

Common side effects of Temovate may include allergic reaction, blurred vision, mood changes, sleep problems, weight gain, swelling of face, feeling tired, skin rashes, itching, burning, or redness, swollen hair follicles, change in color of treated skin, blisters, pimples, stretch marks.

Temovate must be stored at room temperature. It must be kept out of reach of kids and pets and must be kept away from heat and moisture.
