Transderm Scop General Information
Transderm Scop is a medicine to be used externally for helping in overcoming motion sickness. It is available in the form of a patch, which can be attached to any part of the skin to prevent the onset of nausea and vomiting which are normally related to motion sickness.

Transderm Scop has been licensed to be used as a treatment against motion sickness. There are no other known cures for which it can be prescribed.
How Take Transderm Scop
Always follow the instructions given by the doctor or the user label on the medicine for the best dosage.
The patch is to be applied on the skin behind the ear (hairless portion). Use only one patch at one time.
In case the patch loosens, remove the same and put on a new one. Do not put the patch for more than 3 days.
Transderm Scop Warnings
Check the ingredients to see if you are allergic to any one of them. Do not consume in case you have any of the following: myasthenia gravis, are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, are breast-feeding, narrow-angle glaucoma, difficulty swallowing, stomach or bowel problems, Taking prescription drugs, Medicinal allergies, nerve problems, prostate problems, Bleeding, acid reflux disease, blockage of the urinary tract, difficulty urinating, irregular heartbeat, hernia, or heart failure.
Transderm Scop Missed Dose
In the event of missing a dose, immediately take the dose and continue as usual. However, in case you realize the miss near the next scheduled time, do not take the missed dose; take the regular one.
Never take double doses at one go.
Transderm Scop Side Effects
The side effects associated with application of this patch are more-or-less reported the with the following symptoms: Urinary retention, blurred vision, reductions in blood pressure, Rash, dryness of the skin, Erythema, reductions in heart rate, dry mouth, dizziness, restlessness, insomnia, disorientation, memory disturbances, hallucinations, paranoia, confusion.
There are also some known and reported withdrawal symptoms associated with the application of Transderm like: paresthesias of the hands and feet, dysphoria, Hypotension, Dizziness, nausea, vomiting,

Temperatures: 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C)

Transderm Scop Overdose
The following symptoms are related to over dosage of Transderm: Lethargy, somnolence, coma, confusion, agitation, hallucinations, dry mouth, urinary retention, Tachycardia, hypertension, supraventricular arrhythmia, dry flushed skin, visual disturbance, decreased bowel sounds, convulsion.

The Transderm Sc?p patch is manufactured as a tan-colored circular patch, which is 2.5 sq cm. on a peel strip, which has to be removed before use.
Care should be taken to prevent the medicine on the patch to come into direct contact with the eyes. The patient should wash the hands with mild soap after application of this patch.
The medicine is prescribed according to the nature of the infection. Hence, do not share with people who show a similar nature of ailment.
